At Legacy Builders Youth, we believe teenagers aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they have a purpose and a calling right now.
Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, students come together in a safe, friendly, and loving environment where they can have fun, build meaningful friendships, and discover all that God has for their lives.
John and Brittany create an atmosphere of faith and expectancy where teenagers are encouraged to take the limits off what they believe God can do in and through their lives. Through the Word, worship, real conversations, and genuine relationships, students are learning to understand God’s plan for them, grow stronger in their faith, and become confident in who He created them to be.
Legacy Builders is a place to belong—a place where teens can ask questions, find encouragement, build lifelong friendships, and be strengthened to face the challenges of today’s world without compromising their faith.
Our goal is bigger than getting teenagers through their teenage years. We’re helping them build a legacy of faith that will carry them into their future.

What you can expect!
John & Brittany Kossack
John, an urban kid from Chicago, and Brittany, a coal miner’s daughter from Harlan County, Kentucky, met after starting college in Berea. What began as a friendship grew deeper over the years, and in 2014, they were married. Since then, their family has grown to include three passionate, joyful children.
With a shared love for coaching and teaching, neither John nor Brittany could have predicted that youth ministry would become such an important part of their calling. Yet it has become one of the most rewarding gifts God has given them—deepening their understanding of His Word and creating a genuine love for the teenagers they have the privilege of serving.
Today, their heart is to see the broken, hurting, searching, and growing youth in their community encounter Jesus in a real and personal way. They want every teenager who walks through the doors of Legacy Builders to know they are seen, valued, loved, and that God has an incredible purpose for their life.
John and Brittany are passionate about creating a place where teenagers can ask real questions, build genuine friendships, discover who they are in Christ, and develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus that will carry them into adulthood.
They’re not just building a youth ministry. They’re helping build a legacy of faith that lasts. 👑
